The Claud Butler Ridge 2.0 is a well-equipped electric mountain bike designed for riders who want more capability, confidence, and control on trails, bridleways, and everyday rides. Building on the Ridge range, this upgraded model combines a motor, hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano Cues gearing, and a full-colour display to create a versatile and enjoyable riding experience.
Powered by a Bafang rear hub motor delivering 45Nm of torque, the Ridge 2.0 provides responsive pedal assistance up to the UK road-legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). The integrated 375Wh battery offers up to 40 miles (64km) of assisted riding and can be removed for convenient charging at home or work.
Shimano Cues 9-speed gearing paired with a wide-range 11-46T cassette makes climbing easier and gives you the flexibility to tackle varied terrain with confidence. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent stopping power across varied weather conditions, while the 120mm suspension fork helps smooth out rough trails and uneven surfaces.
With 27.5" wheels, wide handlebars, capable finishing kit, and a modern colour display packed with ride information, the Ridge 2.0 offers value for riders looking for a capable electric mountain bike from a British cycling brand.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
