The Claud Butler Wrath 2.0 is a capable and well-equipped electric mountain bike designed for riders who want confidence on trails, gravel paths, forest tracks, and everyday rides alike. Built around a lightweight 6061 aluminium frame with an integrated removable battery, it combines e-bike technology with components from Shimano and Bafang.
Power comes from a 250W Bafang rear hub motor, delivering assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). With a 540Wh Samsung-cell battery, the Wrath 2.0 offers up to 60 miles (97km) of assisted riding on a single charge, making it suitable for weekend adventures, commuting, and leisure cycling.
The Shimano Cues 10-speed drivetrain provides consistent shifting across varied terrain, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes deliver predictable stopping power across varied weather conditions. A 100mm suspension fork with hydraulic lockout helps absorb bumps and rough ground, improving comfort and control on longer rides.
Wide CST Patrol 29" tyres, a Selle Royal saddle, and ergonomic lock-on grips complete a package that feels stable, comfortable, and ready for real-world riding. If you're looking for an electric mountain bike from a respected British cycling brand, the Wrath 2.0 offers value, consistent performance, and everyday practicality.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
