The Dawes Scenic Low Step is a practical and comfortable electric hybrid bike designed for everyday riding. Whether you're commuting to work, enjoying leisurely countryside rides, or running errands around town, the Scenic combines consistent electric assistance with thoughtful features that make every journey easier and more enjoyable.

The low step-through aluminium frame makes mounting and dismounting simple, especially when riding in everyday clothing. Available in multiple frame sizes, it provides a comfortable riding position that inspires confidence for riders of all experience levels.

Power comes from a Bafang 250W rear hub motor producing 32Nm of torque. The motor delivers natural assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). The removable 375Wh battery provides up to 40 miles (64km) of range, making it suitable for commuting, leisure rides, and daily transport. When it's time to recharge, simply remove the battery and charge it wherever is most convenient.

The Shimano Altus 7-speed drivetrain provides consistent shifting across varying terrain, while JAK7 mechanical disc brakes deliver confident stopping performance across varied weather conditions. Puncture-protected Innova Roadrunner tyres help reduce the risk of roadside repairs, while the ergonomic Selle Royal Freeway saddle keeps longer rides comfortable.

Practical features including full-length mudguards, a rear pannier rack, adjustable kickstand, and easy-to-read LCD display make the Scenic ready for everyday use straight out of the box. It's a versatile electric hybrid bike designed around real-world riding rather than showroom specifications.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:

• Have a maximum motor power of 250W
• Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
• Require pedalling for motor assistance

EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
