The crossbar frame gives a direct, classic riding position that suits commuters who prefer a slightly more forward posture. Internal cable routing keeps things tidy and protected through the seasons, and the 6061 aluminium construction means the bike is responsive without being heavy. The integrated 360Wh Samsung-cell battery locks securely into the frame and is fully removable for convenient charging.
Up to 40 miles (64km) of range from a 5-hour charge means many UK commuters can get through most of the working week on a single charge. Five assist modes and a walk-assist function give you control over how much work your legs do, while the handlebar-mounted LCD display keeps speed, battery level and ride data clearly visible.
The Shimano Altus 1x8-speed drivetrain delivers accurate shifting across a useful gear range for both urban riding and moderate inclines. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors provide confident stopping power across varied weather conditions, while the 70mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lockout helps smooth rough roads and cycle paths without sacrificing efficiency on smoother surfaces.

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:

- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
