DESCRIPTION
The Dawes Spire 2.0 Cues Low Step is a premium electric hybrid bike built for riders who want comfort, reliability, and extended range without compromise. Combining a powerful battery, upgraded Shimano components, and practical everyday features, it's equally at home on daily commutes, leisure rides, and longer weekend adventures.
The lightweight 6061 aluminium low-step frame makes mounting and dismounting effortless, while the upright riding position provides comfort and confidence on every journey. Internal cable routing keeps the bike looking clean and tidy while reducing maintenance requirements.
Power comes from a reliable Bafang 250W rear hub motor producing 32Nm of torque, delivering smooth pedal assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). The removable 540Wh Samsung battery provides up to 60 miles (97km) of range, making it ideal for longer rides and reducing the need for frequent charging. The battery locks securely into the frame and can be removed for convenient charging at home or work.
The Shimano Cues 9-speed drivetrain offers a wider gear range and smoother shifting than many entry-level systems, making climbs easier and flatter sections more efficient. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful and dependable stopping performance in all weather conditions, while the suspension fork with 70mm travel and hydraulic lockout improves comfort on rough roads and cycle paths.
Practical features include integrated front and rear LED lighting, puncture-protected Kenda tyres with reflective sidewalls, a rear pannier rack, full-length mudguards, adjustable stem, ergonomic grips, and a comfortable Selle Royal Freeway saddle. Designed to be ready for everyday use straight from the box, the Spire 2.0 Cues is a highly capable electric hybrid bike built for real-world riding.
