The DYU T1 is a folding electric bike designed for commuters who want a practical, compact, and comfortable way to travel. Combining a lightweight magnesium alloy frame with a smart folding design, the T1 is suited to urban riders who need a bike that is easy to store at home, transport in a car, or take on mixed-mode journeys.
Powered by a 250W motor and a responsive torque sensor system, the T1 delivers smooth and natural assistance that adjusts to your pedalling effort. This creates a more intuitive riding experience, helping you tackle hills, headwinds, and longer journeys with less effort while maintaining the feel of a traditional bicycle.
The removable 36V 10Ah battery provides an assisted range of up to 60km, making the T1 well suited to commuting, daily errands, and leisure rides. Shimano 7-speed gearing allows you to adapt to varying terrain, while mechanical disc brakes provide consistent stopping power in changing conditions.
With a lightweight 22.5kg design, compact folding capability, integrated lighting, and magnesium alloy construction, the DYU T1 offers a blend of portability, comfort, and everyday practicality for modern urban cycling.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
