Powered by a 250W motor and supported by five levels of pedal assistance, the Lite can be ridden in a variety of ways depending on your journey. Pedal assist helps reduce effort on longer rides and hills, walk mode makes pushing the bike easier when required, while cruise mode and standard cycling mode provide additional flexibility for different riding styles.
Hydraulic disc brakes deliver dependable stopping power in all weather conditions, while integrated front and rear lights improve visibility during darker commutes. Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
- On private land
- With the landowner’s permission
