The E-Go Lite+ is a lightweight folding electric bike designed for riders who want greater range, more versatility, and added everyday practicality without sacrificing portability. Building on the original Lite model, the Lite+ adds larger wheels, Shimano gearing, upgraded lighting, and an LCD display to create a more capable all-round commuting and leisure bike.

Weighing just 18kg, the Lite+ remains easy to carry, transport, and store, while folding down to a compact 82 × 46 × 72cm footprint. Whether it's tucked into a hallway, carried onto public transport, or stored in a car boot, the folding design makes everyday ownership simple and convenient.

The 250W motor works alongside five levels of pedal assistance, allowing riders to choose how much support they need throughout the journey. Shimano 7-speed gearing provides flexibility for tackling hills, headwinds, and changing terrain, making the Lite+ equally comfortable on daily commutes and longer leisure rides.

An upgraded LCD display clearly shows speed, battery level, and assist settings, while the integrated USB charging port allows riders to keep devices powered on longer journeys. The brighter front light improves visibility during darker commutes, and hydraulic disc brakes provide stopping performance in a variety of weather conditions.

Practical touches such as folding retention magnets, mudguards, integrated lighting, and a kickstand complete a package designed around real-world usability. For riders looking for a lightweight folding electric bike that combines convenience, comfort, and everyday practicality, the E-Go Lite+ is a capable choice.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:

• Have a maximum motor power of 250W
• Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
• Require pedalling for motor assistance

EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
