The E-Go Max+ is a versatile folding electric bike built for riders who want more comfort, more stability, and greater confidence on mixed terrain. Featuring wide 20" × 4" fat tyres, a 250W motor, and a high-capacity battery, it's designed to handle everything from urban commuting and leisure rides to gravel paths, towpaths, and rougher countryside routes.
The oversized fat tyres provide more grip and cushioning than conventional commuter tyres, helping smooth out potholes, uneven roads, gravel tracks, and broken surfaces. Combined with the upright riding position, the result is a comfortable and confidence-inspiring ride across a wide variety of terrain.
Power comes from a 250W electric motor paired with five levels of pedal assistance, allowing riders to choose how much support they want. A Shimano 7-speed gearing system provides additional flexibility for hills, headwinds, and changing riding conditions, making the Max+ equally comfortable on city streets and longer leisure rides.
The removable Samsung/LG 14Ah battery can be charged on or off the bike, providing convenient charging at home or work. When not in use, the bike folds in four simple steps into a compact size suitable for storage in a hallway, office, motorhome, or car boot.
With integrated lights, mudguards, a kickstand, and a 150kg payload capacity, the E-Go Max+ is a practical and capable folding e-bike designed for riders who want comfort and versatility without sacrificing portability.

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
