The Engwe EP-2 3.0 Boost builds on the success of the popular EP-2 platform with a series of meaningful upgrades designed to improve everyday riding. Featuring increased torque, hydraulic disc brakes, a larger battery, and faster charging, it offers enhanced performance while retaining the practicality and versatility that have made the EP-2 range a favourite among riders.
Powered by a 48V hub motor delivering 75Nm of torque, the EP-2 3.0 Boost provides stronger climbing ability and more responsive assistance, particularly on steeper gradients and longer rides. The integrated torque sensor ensures power delivery feels smooth and natural, adjusting assistance based on your pedalling effort rather than applying power abruptly.
Its 20" × 4.0" urban hybrid tyres feature a 3mm anti-puncture layer and work alongside the hydraulic front suspension system to deliver comfort and confidence across a wide variety of terrain, including roads, gravel paths, grass tracks, and coastal routes. Hydraulic dual-piston disc brakes provide dependable stopping power in all weather conditions.
A 48V 13.5Ah battery offers up to 120km of range, while the fast charger significantly reduces charging times. Combined with the folding step-through frame, Bluetooth-enabled colour display, app connectivity, and generous 150kg payload capacity, the EP-2 3.0 Boost is a versatile e-bike built for both commuting and adventure.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
