The Engwe L20 3.0 Pro is a folding electric bike designed for riders who want long-range capability, comfort, and everyday practicality. Combining a step-through frame, mid-drive motor, and full suspension system, it's built to make commuting, leisure riding, and longer journeys more enjoyable.
At the heart of the bike is the Mivice X700 mid-drive motor, delivering 100Nm of torque. This provides climbing performance and smooth assistance, particularly when riding with luggage or tackling steeper gradients. The integrated torque sensor helps power delivery feel natural and responsive, adjusting assistance in line with your pedalling effort.
A high-capacity 48V 15Ah battery using Samsung 21700 cells delivers up to 160km of range under laboratory conditions, reducing charging frequency and making the bike suitable for regular riders. The fast charger helps minimise downtime, while the Engwe IoT module provides GPS, Bluetooth, 4G connectivity, and app integration for added convenience.
With full suspension, puncture-protected 20" × 3.0" hybrid tyres, hydraulic disc brakes, integrated lighting, and a folding frame design, the L20 3.0 Pro offers a balance of comfort, capability, and practicality for everyday use.

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
