The EZEGO Commute EX Ladies is a practical and comfortable electric bike designed for commuting, leisure rides, and everyday cycling. Built around a low-step alloy frame, it offers easy mounting and dismounting while maintaining a stable and confident riding position that's ideal for both urban journeys and countryside adventures.
Powered by a 250W rear hub brushless motor delivering 45Nm of torque, the Commute EX provides smooth and reliable assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). Five levels of pedal assistance allow you to tailor the support to your route, while walk assist helps when pushing the bike uphill or through busy areas.
The removable LG-cell battery offers up to 45 miles (60km) of range under average riding conditions, making it well suited to daily commuting and longer weekend rides. Charging takes approximately four hours using the supplied smart charger.
Comfort and practicality are built into the design. Puncture-protected Kenda 700×45c tyres help reduce the likelihood of roadside repairs, while the Shimano Acera 8-speed drivetrain provides a wide range of gears for hills and changing terrain. Promax mechanical disc brakes deliver dependable stopping power in all weather conditions.
Mudguards, a rear pannier rack, kickstand, and ergonomic comfort saddle come fitted as standard, making the Commute EX Ladies a fully equipped electric bike ready for everyday use straight from the box.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
- On private land
- With the landowner’s permission
