The EZEGO Commute INT Gents is a fully equipped electric hybrid bike designed for commuting, fitness riding, and longer leisure journeys. Combining a lightweight alloy frame, integrated battery design, hydraulic disc brakes, and a Shimano Acera 9-speed drivetrain, it offers a refined riding experience that's equally at home in the city or on countryside routes.
Powered by a 250W rear hub brushless motor producing 45Nm of torque, the Commute INT provides smooth assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). Five levels of pedal assistance allow you to tailor the support to your ride, while the integrated walk assist function makes manoeuvring the bike easy when off the saddle.
The internally mounted 504Wh LG battery provides up to 45 miles (60km) of assisted riding on a single charge. With a charging time of approximately four hours, it's well suited to regular commuting and everyday use.
Comfort and practicality are central to the design. Kenda Kwick Journey puncture-protected tyres help reduce the risk of punctures, while Clarks hydraulic disc brakes deliver reliable stopping power in all weather conditions. Integrated front and rear lights improve visibility, and the rear pannier rack makes carrying work essentials, shopping, or touring luggage simple.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
- On private land
- With the landowner’s permission
