DESCRIPTION
The Ezego Trail Destroyer II is a lightweight electric mountain bike built for riders who want the efficiency of an e-bike combined with the handling and capability of a modern hardtail MTB. Whether you're exploring countryside trails, tackling forestry tracks, or simply looking for a more capable commuter, the Trail Destroyer II offers a balanced blend of performance, comfort, and practicality.
Power comes from a 250W rear hub brushless motor delivering 45Nm of torque and assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). Five levels of pedal assistance allow you to tailor the ride to the terrain, while walk assist helps when pushing the bike on steep sections.
The integrated 504Wh battery uses LG or Samsung cells and provides up to 40 miles (60km) of assisted riding under average conditions. Charging takes approximately four hours, making it easy to keep ready for daily use.
Designed with off-road capability in mind, the Trail Destroyer II features an SR Suntour X1 Air Boost suspension fork with thru axle and remote lockout, helping absorb rough terrain while maintaining efficiency on smoother surfaces. Shimano CUES 10-speed gearing provides a wide gear range for climbing and descending, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes offer confident stopping power across varied weather conditions.
Rolling on Maxxis Ardent 27.5" x 2.4" tyres, the Trail Destroyer II combines grip, comfort, and durability for riders who regularly venture beyond tarmac. At just 17.5kg excluding the battery, it remains lightweight for an electric mountain bike, making it responsive and enjoyable to ride whether the motor is assisting or not.

LEGAL GUIDE
Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Important
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure any e-bike is used in accordance with UK laws and regulations. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.
