The Hygge Herlev Auto is a utility-focused electric bike designed to make everyday riding as simple and easy as possible. Combining Scandinavian styling with automatic gearing technology, it removes much of the effort and maintenance traditionally associated with cycling, allowing you to focus entirely on the ride.
At the heart of the Herlev Auto is an Ananda 250W hub motor producing 48Nm of torque, paired with a torque sensor that responds to your pedalling input. The result is natural assistance that feels intuitive whether you're accelerating away from traffic lights, cruising through town, or tackling gentle inclines.
The Herlev Auto features an integrated Ananda automatic 3-speed transmission. Working alongside the bike's CAN control system, the drivetrain automatically selects the gear based on your speed and riding conditions. There's no need to think about shifting gears – the bike does it for you, creating a seamless riding experience.
The Gates carbon belt drive replaces a traditional chain, delivering quiet operation and reduced maintenance. No chain lubrication, less cleaning, and long service life make it a suitable choice for everyday commuters and utility riders.
Power comes from a removable Samsung 48V 14Ah battery providing up to 80km of assisted range. Hydraulic disc brakes, front suspension, puncture-resistant tyres, integrated lighting, and a MIK-compatible rear carrier system complete a practical package designed for daily transport, shopping trips, commuting, and leisure riding.

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:

- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
