Power comes from an Ananda 250W rear hub motor producing 50Nm of torque, delivering smooth assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). Paired with an Ananda torque sensor, the motor responds naturally to your pedalling effort, creating a ride feel that's smooth, intuitive, and comfortable whether you're accelerating from traffic lights or tackling gentle hills.
The removable Samsung 36V 13Ah battery provides up to 80km of assisted range, giving most riders several days of commuting between charges. The battery can easily be removed for convenient charging at home or work.
Comfort is a major focus of the Lossø Step. A mechanical front suspension fork helps absorb road imperfections, while the Selle Royal Freeway Comfort saddle and ergonomic grips provide a relaxed riding position for longer journeys. Puncture-resistant CST tyres add confidence and reliability for daily use.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
