The Hygge Lossø Step is a commuter electric bike that combines Scandinavian-inspired design with practical everyday performance. Built around a comfortable low-step aluminium frame, it's designed to make city riding, leisure trips, and daily commuting as easy as possible.

Power comes from an Ananda 250W rear hub motor producing 50Nm of torque, delivering consistent assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). Paired with an Ananda torque sensor, the motor responds naturally to your pedalling effort, creating a ride feel that's intuitive and comfortable whether you're accelerating from traffic lights or tackling gentle hills.

The removable Samsung 36V 13Ah battery provides up to 80km of assisted range, giving most riders several days of commuting between charges. The battery can be removed for convenient charging at home or work.

Comfort is a major focus of the Lossø Step. A mechanical front suspension fork helps absorb road imperfections, while the Selle Royal Freeway Comfort saddle and ergonomic grips provide a relaxed riding position for longer journeys. Puncture-resistant CST tyres add confidence and consistency for daily use.

The Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain offers consistent shifting across varied terrain, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent stopping performance across varied weather conditions. Integrated LED lighting, full mudguards, and the MIK adjustable rear carrier system complete a package designed for practical everyday riding.

For riders seeking a comfortable and capable electric bike for commuting and leisure, the Hygge Lossø Step delivers a practical balance of performance, comfort, and everyday usability.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:

• Have a maximum motor power of 250W
• Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
• Require pedalling for motor assistance

EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
