The Hygge Vester Folding is a versatile folding electric bike built for riders who want comfort, practicality, and all-terrain capability in one package. Featuring wide fat tyres, front suspension, and a 48V battery system, it's equally suited to urban commuting, leisure rides, countryside adventures, and weekend getaways.
Powered by an Ananda 250W rear hub motor producing 50Nm of torque, the Vester delivers consistent assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). The CAN control system and cadence sensor provide consistent power delivery, helping make climbs easier and longer rides more enjoyable.
The removable Samsung 48V 14Ah battery provides up to 80km of assisted range, giving plenty of capacity for daily commuting or extended leisure rides. The battery can be removed easily for convenient charging at home or work.
One of the Vester's strengths is its folding design. The aluminium frame folds down for easy storage, transport in a car boot, or taking on public transport, while still providing the stability and comfort of a larger e-bike when unfolded.
Comfort is further enhanced by the front suspension fork and wide 20" x 4" puncture-resistant fat tyres, which help absorb bumps, rough surfaces, gravel paths, and uneven terrain. Shimano Altus 7-speed gearing provides consistent shifting, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes deliver confident stopping power across varied weather conditions.
Integrated lighting, full mudguards, a comfortable Selle Royal saddle, and a MIK-compatible rear carrier complete a practical package designed for everyday use. Combining Danish-inspired styling with versatility, the Hygge Vester is ready for almost any journey.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
