The Hygge Virum Folding is a lightweight folding electric bike designed for commuters, city riders, and anyone looking for a practical and easy-to-store e-bike. Weighing just 18kg, it combines portability with comfort, making it suitable for mixed journeys involving trains, public transport, motorhomes, or limited storage space at home and work.

Powered by an Ananda 250W rear hub motor delivering 42Nm of torque, the Virum provides consistent pedal assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). The Ananda CAN control system and cadence sensor work together to provide consistent power delivery, helping make everyday riding easier whether you're commuting, shopping, or enjoying a leisurely ride.

The removable Samsung 36V 10Ah seat-post battery offers up to 60km of assisted range, providing plenty of capacity for daily journeys without constant charging. Its compact folding frame folds quickly for convenient storage and transport while maintaining the comfort and stability of a full-size riding position.

Shimano Altus 8-speed gearing delivers consistent shifting across varying terrain, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled stopping performance across varied weather conditions. Puncture-resistant tyres, integrated LED lighting, a colour LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, full mudguards, and a MIK-compatible rear carrier make the Virum well-equipped for everyday use.

Combining Danish-inspired design, practical folding convenience, and consistent electric assistance, the Hygge Virum is a suitable choice for riders seeking comfort, versatility, and portability.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:

• Have a maximum motor power of 250W
• Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
• Require pedalling for motor assistance

EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.

Important

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure any e-bike is used in accordance with UK laws and regulations. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.
