DESCRIPTION
The E-Go CarbonLite 3S is an ultra-lightweight folding electric bike designed for riders who want premium performance without the weight penalty that often comes with electric bikes. Weighing just 15.3kg including the battery and mudguards, it's one of the lightest folding e-bikes available in the UK, making it ideal for commuters, apartment living, train travel, and everyday urban riding.
Built around a full carbon fibre construction, including the frame, forks, handlebars, seat post, stem, and saddle, the CarbonLite 3S combines exceptional strength with remarkably low weight. The result is a bike that's easy to carry upstairs, lift onto public transport, or store neatly at home while still delivering a confident and responsive ride.
Power comes from a Star Union mid-drive motor producing 75Nm of torque. Combined with a torque sensor system, assistance feels smooth, natural, and intuitive, responding directly to your pedalling effort. Unlike many hub-motor folding bikes, the mid-drive design improves climbing ability, weight distribution, and overall ride quality.
The maintenance-friendly belt drive system works alongside a Shimano Nexus 3-speed internal gear hub, providing clean, quiet operation without the regular upkeep associated with traditional chain-driven bikes. Hydraulic disc brakes deliver reliable stopping power in all weather conditions, while integrated front and rear lights improve visibility for year-round riding.
A Samsung 7Ah seat-post battery keeps the design sleek and integrated, while the TFT display built into the handlebars provides clear ride information without cluttering the cockpit. For riders looking for a premium lightweight folding e-bike that blends cutting-edge materials with everyday practicality, the CarbonLite 3S stands in a class of its own.
