Powered by a 250W motor delivering up to 40Nm of torque, the E-Go Max provides smooth assistance across five pedal assist levels, helping to make hills, headwinds, and longer distances far more manageable. Combined with Shimano 7-speed gearing, riders have the flexibility to tailor their effort to the terrain and riding conditions.
The removable Samsung/LG 14Ah battery is neatly integrated into the seat post, helping maintain a clean appearance while allowing convenient charging at home or work. With a range of up to 55 miles on a single charge, most riders will comfortably cover several days of commuting before needing to recharge.
Disc brakes provide dependable stopping performance in both wet and dry conditions, while integrated front and rear lights improve visibility throughout the year. The folding frame collapses into a compact size suitable for storage in hallways, offices, apartments, motorhomes, or car boots, making it an excellent option for riders who need flexibility as well as performance.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
- On private land
- With the landowner’s permission
