At the heart of the bike is a 250W rear hub brushless motor producing 45Nm of torque, providing smooth assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). Five levels of pedal assistance allow you to tailor the support to your route, while the integrated walk assist function makes pushing the bike effortless when needed.
Power comes from a removable Samsung-cell battery, delivering up to 40 miles (60km) of assisted riding on a single charge. The battery can be removed for convenient charging at home or work, while the four-hour charging time helps keep downtime to a minimum.
The Shimano Acera 9-speed drivetrain offers a wide gear range for tackling hills and maintaining a comfortable cadence, while Clarks hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping power in all weather conditions. Kenda puncture-protected tyres help reduce maintenance and increase confidence on longer rides.
Integrated front and rear lights, alloy mudguards, a rear pannier rack, and a comfortable upright riding position make the Commute INT Unisex a practical electric bike that's ready for daily use straight from the box.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
- On private land
- With the landowner’s permission
