The EZEGO Fold is a lightweight and highly practical folding electric bike designed for commuters, leisure riders, and anyone who needs maximum portability without sacrificing everyday usability. Folding down in just four simple steps to a compact 83 × 67 × 47cm, it's perfectly suited to train travel, car boots, motorhomes, offices, and home storage.
Despite its compact size, the Fold delivers impressive performance thanks to its 250W rear hub brushless motor producing 45Nm of torque. Assistance is provided up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h), helping to make hills, headwinds, and longer journeys significantly easier. Five pedal assist levels allow riders to tailor support to their needs, while walk assist makes moving the bike effortless when off the saddle.
Available with either a 374Wh or 460Wh battery, the Fold offers between 32 and 40 miles of assisted range depending on battery choice and riding conditions. The removable battery design allows convenient charging at home or work and helps simplify storage and security.
The Shimano Claris 8-speed drivetrain provides a wide gear range for varied terrain, while Promax mechanical disc brakes offer dependable stopping power in all weather conditions. Kenda puncture-protected tyres help reduce the likelihood of punctures, making the Fold a dependable companion for daily use.
Complete with mudguards, rear pannier rack, folding pedals, and a telescopic folding stem, the EZEGO Fold combines portability, practicality, and comfort in a package built around real-world cycling.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
- On private land
- With the landowner’s permission
