Built around a low-step alloy frame, it's particularly well suited to commuters, leisure riders, and anyone who prefers effortless mounting and dismounting.
Powered by a 250W front hub brushless motor producing 42Nm of torque, the Step NX delivers smooth assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). Five pedal assist levels allow you to choose the level of support that suits your ride, while the integrated walk assist function makes pushing the bike easy when required.
The removable 418Wh Samsung battery provides up to 40 miles (60km) of assisted range, making it ideal for commuting, shopping trips, and longer leisure rides. Charging takes approximately four hours, allowing the bike to be quickly ready for its next journey.
A Shimano Nexus 7-speed drivetrain offers smooth and reliable gear changes with minimal maintenance, while the alloy suspension fork with hydraulic lockout helps absorb bumps and rough road surfaces. Promax mechanical disc brakes provide dependable stopping power in all weather conditions, and puncture-protected Kenda tyres help reduce interruptions from punctures.
Practical features including alloy mudguards, rear pannier rack, adjustable stem, comfort saddle, and centre-mounted kickstand make the Step NX a versatile electric bike that's ready for everyday use straight from the box.

Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Electric Scooters
Privately owned e-scooters are currently not legal to use on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK.
They may only be used:
- On private land
- With the landowner’s permission
