DESCRIPTION
The Hygge Lossø Commuter is a commuter electric bike that combines clean Scandinavian design with consistent everyday performance. Designed for urban riding, leisure cycling, and daily commuting, it delivers electric assistance, capable components, and practical features that make every journey more enjoyable.
Powered by an Ananda 250W rear hub motor producing 50Nm of torque, the Lossø provides responsive assistance up to the UK legal limit of 15.5mph (25km/h). The Ananda torque sensor continuously measures your pedalling effort and adjusts assistance accordingly, creating a natural riding experience that feels intuitive whether you're accelerating from a standstill or tackling gentle inclines.
The removable Samsung 36V 13Ah battery delivers up to 80km of assisted range, making it suitable for commuters and leisure riders alike. The battery can be removed for convenient charging at home or work.
Comfort is enhanced by a mechanical front suspension fork, puncture-resistant tyres, and a Selle Royal Freeway Comfort saddle. The Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain provides consistent shifting across varied terrain, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes deliver controlled stopping performance across varied weather conditions.
Practical features such as integrated LED lighting, full mudguards, an aluminium bell, and the MIK adjustable rear carrier system make the Lossø ready for everyday use straight out of the box. It's a well-rounded electric bike that combines comfort, performance, and style in equal measure.

LEGAL GUIDE
Electric Bikes (EAPC)
Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
Important
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure any e-bike is used in accordance with UK laws and regulations. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.
