The MBM Metis is a hardtail electric mountain bike designed for riders who want to tackle challenging climbs, rough trails, and longer off-road adventures with confidence. Built around a lightweight hydroformed aluminium frame and equipped with Shimano components, it delivers the capability and performance expected from an eMTB.
At the heart of the bike is the MBM Motori Elettrici by Olieds mid-drive motor, producing 80Nm of torque. This drive system provides responsive assistance when climbing steep gradients, navigating technical terrain, or covering longer distances. The large 522Wh battery offers capacity for extended rides and all-day trail adventures.
The Shimano Deore 10-speed drivetrain delivers precise shifting across a wide gear range, while Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent stopping power across varied weather conditions. Wide Vee Tyre Co. 27.5 x 2.80" tyres offer grip and stability on loose and uneven terrain, complemented by the RST suspension fork for improved comfort and control.

Most electric bikes are classified as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and are legal to use on UK roads if they:
- Have a maximum motor power of 250W
- Do not assist beyond 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
- Require pedalling for motor assistance
EAPCs can be ridden without a licence, tax, or insurance, and are treated the same as regular bicycles.
